Getting hot in Texas. She found a shady spot and gave up for a while. I have a lot to learn from our younger dog.

I pulled a couple of triggers this week. I released book 4 to my editor (who promptly made me regret my decision by dousing my beautiful story in her virtual red ink). And I sent out ARC copies to the bythebookvbp tour team. We still have several slots open for the tour, so if you or someone you know is interested, send them to the reviewer link. If they don’t have KU, and are interested in catching up, I’ll sent them ebooks of the first three of the series. (Three free ebooks and an arc copy of book 4… 🧐🤔👍)

One other fun bit of news—Jillian Yetter, audiobook narrator for book 1, made a video sporting book merch from Guardian League. I'm just going to share the link, since my attempts to embed IG posts in my newsletter have not gone well.

That shows where my head is. 🙃 I haven't hit a home run in my job search, nor has anything knocked my socks off. I had an opportunity that appealed to me more than others, working at a startup called Tenstorrent. Though I didn't get the job, I realized through the process that I really like the idea of a...

I would like to lock down my blurb so that I can send it to the cover editor. I took input from April, then made more edits. I’m open to suggestions. Also pretty happy with it. The Mother of Trees withers while the trolls prepare to conquer a crumbling world. The elves’ only hope rests on a desperate plan forged by a fanatical Warder with questionable motives. Elliah, a magicless elf cursed by prophecy, holds the key to either salvation or destruction. Forced into an uneasy alliance with the...
